DIRECTIONS
The Grand Isle Veterinary Hospital is centrally located in Grand Isle County at 40 Simms Point Road in the Town of Grand Isle. The 1.11 acre facility is 1.5 miles from Route 2, the major state highway that connects all of the islands of Grand Isle County, and is approximately 4 miles from the Grand Isle, VT - Plattsburg, NY Ferry (Vermont side), which runs around the clock, with ferries departing every 20 minutes, 365 days a year.
From the South:
When coming from the south and traveling on Route 2 North, the quickest and easiest way to the Hospital is to (1) TURN LEFT on to Griswold Road in the Town of Grand Isle (15 miles northwest of I-89 Exit 17 and 1 mile past the Town of Grand Isle blinking traffic light), and then (2) MAKE A RIGHT on to Simms Point Road at the 4-way stop sign (1 mile west on Griswold Road). The Hospital is 0.5 miles up Simms Point Road on the right immediately after the Paradee Farm.
From the North:
When coming from the north and traveling on Route 2 South, (1) TURN RIGHT on to Griswold Road in the Town of Grand Isle (approximately 1.5 miles south of the Grand Isle-North Hero draw bridge), and then (2) MAKE A RIGHT on to Simms Point Road at the 4-way stop sign (1 mile west on Griswold Road). The Hospital is 0.5 miles up Simms Point Road on the right immediately after the Paradee Farm.
From the Ferry:
From the parking lot of the Grand Isle, VT - Plattsburg, NY Ferry (Vermont side), (1) TURN LEFT on to West Shore Road. (2) STAY on West Shore Road traveling north for approximately 3 miles. Then, (3) MAKE A RIGHT on to Moccasin Avenue. (The road actually appears to turn right; the road straight ahead is Adams Landing Road.) Continue heading east away from the water for approximately 1 mile and then (4) MAKE A LEFT at the 4-way stop sign. The Hospital is 0.5 miles up Simms Point Road on the right immediately after the Paradee Farm.
